Volunteer

We are seeking motivated and passionate volunteers to ensure this locally driven initiative is successful! Please complete the information below so we can get you on our list of dedicated volunteers!

Please Note: We encourage youth involvement and invite high school groups and organizations to participate in our project days.  We encourage younger youth groups (ages 14 and below) to participate alongside a parent, guardian or youth group adult leader since most projects will require adult supervision.  All volunteers are asked to sign a Volunteer Waiver; if a volunteer is under the age of 18, a parent or guardian must complete the form.

Please let us know if there is anything specific you would like to volunteer to do (ie. I have a power washer and would like to volunteer to do power washing).

Ready To Square Up, Marion?

There are many ways to engage the community in these critical conversations — the most important thing is to make sure that the conversations happen. Volunteers help make resources go further. Volunteers are critical either by addressing the problem more effectively or expanding the scope of the organization's response. Volunteers might be engaged to “adopt” and care for the vacant lots all year round, or even transform them into community gardens or playgrounds. Volunteers are also critical to the success on Project Days.
